In the 1861 census, she is shown as Annie Boyle (widowed), with her 4 kids, along with four factory hands (John & Annie Smith from the U.S., and William McNaughton and Peter Bushey from Scotland).

After Charles died, she moved along with the rest of her family (including her mom) to Ottawa. By 1891 she is living with her daughter Margaret’s family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her death registration for Hamilton, Ontario has her age as 78, placing her birth year closer to 1834. She passed away from senile disability, and dilation of the heart.
