“[after Howard died] Alice had resumed her nursing career at the local hospital in 1952 at the time of the polio epidemic. She retired from nursing in 1970. She continued to live in the house that she and Howard had built at 543 Dufferin Avenue until 1985 when she became a resident of the Tabor Home in Morden, MB”.

From Darlingford Saga II:

“She had graduated from Freemason’s Hospital at Morden.”

Her middle name and their birthplace is from their Manitoba Vital Statistics marriage record.
