Notes for John A. MARSHALL

Listed as being born in 1872 in 1881 census.

Listing in 1901 census as John Marshel (living in Orillia, Simcoe District, ON). Listed as being of Irish descent, born in Ontario, Presbyterian, and listed as a General Labourer. Only Harvey was born at the time (meaning the census was done before Selina’s birth in Nov. 1901).

Listed in 1911 census as John Marshell in Orillia, Simcoe East District. Can’t quite read his address, but it looks something like “Set40 Muskoka St.”. He is listed as a labourer, working “in yard”, averaging 60 hours a week, and earned $300 that year.

Listed in the 1921 census in Orillia
