His dad Coleman Marshall (and Thomasine, and his brother Nelson) lived next door. He is listed as a carpenter, running out of his house (“house building”), as was his dad next door.

He is shown as Melville Marshall in the 1921 census, living in Orillia, Washago, with his family.

There is a reference from a family member on the ancestry.ca message boards for Marshall that shows that they got married on April 28, 1907.
