LIsted in 1911 census as ‘H.B. Marshal’ (Newmarket, York North district, Ontario). Lists his birth year as 1881. He, his wife and his son are all listed as being of English descent, Presbyterian. Place is listed as either ‘Rosford’ or ‘Bosford’. He is listed as a clerk, working in a store, as his occupation.

In the 1921 census, Harry, his wife Margaret and their two kids (Douglas and Aubrey), also has Margaret’s widowed mother (Mary) and Margaret’s niece (age 16) living with them. Can’t read the nieces first name, but the last name is Mcauley, so must be from Margaret’s brother.

The July 1944 Marshall family history mentions that he was a merchant in Newmarket, Ontario.
