Notes for Joseph B. DAVIS

Tall, quiet man who used to play fife at celebrations. Had epileptic fits, which eventually killed him. He took his horses to water them, had an epileptic fit, and fell face down in a small puddle and drowned. Another version of this is that he was standing in cold water while fixing a tire, and suffered an aneurysm.

In Bangor, Hastings West, Ontario in 1911 census. There are both other Davis families and McFarlane’s living in the immediate vicinity who are probably related.
