Died of a stroke. He was “born a cripple having only half a spine” (he had spina bifida). Was taught by Mary Taylor (Boyle) in afternoons in 1920-1921, at the age of about 10. I had information that he passed away in 1943, but his tombstone says 1940.

There is also a reference to a Garfield Price death notice in the June 17, 1940 Porcupine Advance newspaper (for Timmins), page 2, but unfortunately that paper does not seem to be online.
