First name spelled Henery in 1901 census. He was recruited for World War I, where his birth date is listed as March 1, 1894. He was listed as a single, Anglican farmer, living in Centreview, ON, and he signed up Dec. 21, 1917. At his medical in Trenton, ON, he was listed as 5’8.5” tall, ruddy complexion, blue eyes and brown hair.
His tombstone says he was born in 1895.
He and Mary are living in Cobalt, Ontario in the 1921 census - their eldest son Edgar had not been born yet, but Mary would have been pregnant with him at the time. He is listed as a pipe fitter (I believe in the mines).
