According to both the Manitou and Darlingford history books, Minnie was the 3rd white child to be born in the Pembina Municipality. In the 1881 Manitoba census, she is listed as 1 year old, being born in 1880.

In 1891 cenus, she is listed as 12 years old.

In 1911 census, she is living with her sister and parents. The Manitoba Vital Statistics record for their marriage lists her name as Minnie Jane Storey.

As of the June 3, 1916 census, she is the last child to still be living with her parents.
