McAdam’s were an active family in Pakenham around the time of their marriage.

I have not seen any mention of her gravesite, so I still wonder if there was some confusion as to whom she actually married. However, there is a marriage record that mentions that the witnesses were William McAdam and James Duncan. It is also an odd coincidence that Thomas’ brother Henry married a Martha McAdam later - is it the same person?
