Confirmed that his last name was Lankin, not Larkin, from Darlingford newspaper.

There is a Joseph Lankin in the 1906 Saskatchewan census, listed as single and 28 years old, having immigrated to Canada in 1903, having previously lived in Manitoba, living near Redbery/Radisson (when the census was taken on July 9th, 1906). According to the Radisson history book, there was also an Arthur Lankin in the area, around 1915.

Have confirmed from a 1915 Winnipeg Henderson Directory entry for Ellen Lankin that her husband’s name was Joseph, and that she was widowed.
