He is not on the 1911 census with his wife’s family (in fact, she is listed as the head of the household), and she is listed as widowed, so he must have died between the conception of his daughter, and the 1911 census. I also presume that he was Catholic, as that is what his widow in kids are listed as, next to his inlaws who were listed as Anglican.
