Immigrated to Canada from the Illinois, USA with his parents in 1913. By 1934, he was residing in Alhambra, California, which is where he married Inez. Witnesses were Mrs. Betty Hartzig and another Hartzig and can’t read the first name of.

I originally had them getting married 23 Dec 1927 in Saskatchewan, which was hand written in the William Boyle Sr. family bible (which was in posession of Inez’ parents Parker and Roberta at the time). Either somebody wrote it down wrong, or they may have married twice (renewed vows?)

In the 1940 USA census, they are living in Alhambra, California with their son, James Parker (age 3). Leroy’s job is listed as an “Ice Man”
