Moved to Cobalt,ON around 1937/1938.

A date I had for his death was 19 Apr 1970, but BC Vital Statistics is the date I am using now. It has his first name as Merrell, and his age as 55.

His death certificate has his name as “Parcher, Merrell Aubrey also known as Parcher, John”, and it shows his birth date as December 11, 1913. He was living at 1434 Davie Street at the time of his death. He is listed as having been born in Cobalt, Ontario, and he was a stationary engineer. The informant for his death is not related, but it lists him as married, but with his spouse’s name as unknown. I don’t quite understand how that can be. He died of Bronchopneumonia, which he had suffered for about a week. It also mentions that he had suffered an acute subdural hematoma a year and 1/2 earlier (blood clot in the brain, usually from a serious head injury).
