He was an air force pilot, and died in a plane crash while teaching a student in the plane. He was living with his wife Joyce in Brandon, Manitoba at the time of his death. He was listed as “Flying Officer Harvey Edwin Storey”. Family lore has that we was teaching the student in England when the plane crashed.
