ROBERT ALBERT FOSKETT1926-2013It is with sorrow we announce the passing of Robert Albert Foskett on July 9th, 2013. Predeceased by his parents and older brother Tom. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Frances, his brother Bill (Bonnie), his daughters Judy Seager, and Valerie Smith (Terry), one son Jim (Susan). Four grandchildren, Rob Foskett (Jacey), Emily Nickle (Rodney), Steve Seager, and Jamie-Lee Foskett, as well as five great-grandchildren. Born in Saskatoon Dec 10th, 1926, the second of three sons to Robert Jesse and Anna-Mae Foskett. Growing up in Saskatoon he attended Caswell and Bedford Road. He enjoyed sports most especially Hockey and Fastball playing both well into his adult years. At age 16 he started work at C.N. Express where he retired 40 years later as General Operation Supervisor. Bob had a lifelong passion for the outdoors, boating, exploring, family vacations and Free Masonry. His life was dedicated to helping those that needed it and many were aided by his generous heart. Bob was a man of outstanding integrity and unquestionable morals who will be dearly missed by many. Life’s battles fought, life’s duties done.Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 15th, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Christ Church - Anglican with full Masonic Rites (515 28th St. W). Flowers are respectfully declined and it is Bob’s wish that in lieu of flowers or donations he would rather you do a kind deed for someone in remembrance of him.
