Her name is sometimes spelled Rebecca. In the 1851 census, she is listed as 1 year younger than her sister Eliza. Perhaps Eliza was born at the end of 1830/beginning of 1831? Lived with her parents in Albion Township, Peel County at the time. Her obituary in the May 13, 1897 Flesherton Advance mentions that she and Roger moved to Artemesia around 1851/1852.

On her marriage record to Roger, she is listed as 48 years old, from Artemesia. Witnesses were J.W.Armstrong and R.E. Smyth from Flesherton.
