1891 census lists Adam Holley, and no Edward Adam. I believe these two entries in the tree (Adam Porter and Edward Adam) are the same person. i have made this correction, and fixed the birthdate.

His marriage certificate says he was born in Markdale. Porter was a truck driver at the time of his marriage. Witnesses were Emma Lloyd of West Vancouver, and Herb Holley of Ladner, BC.

He was in good health, and had switched to farming after his marriage. He was repairing a farm implement on August 26, 1935, when he was stung by a bee, to which he had a huge reaction and passed away within 5 minutes.
