Was living in Berkley,ON when he was recruited for WW I. Signed his papers on March 14,1916. Was single, and listed as a famer, at the time.On his medical report, he is reported to have a “scar from scald on the right side of the head.”

There is a Herbert Holley who died in Vancouver at age 60 on Jan. 22, 1957, that may be the same person (the age is right).
