Died of Haemophilia.

Her obituary from Feb. 1,1920 Flesherton Advance:

“The Late Mrs. Jacob Holley

Mrs. Jacob Holley, for many years a respected citizen of Markdale, passed to her rest early Monday morning, January 19th. She had suffered a sever paralytic stroke some two years ago and a second was experienced on the Thursday prior to her death, to which she succumbed.The deceased was a woman of sterling worth and many stories are told of her unselfish interest and endeavor to relieve distress or help the troubled when it was in her power to do so. Her long illness gave evidence of a christian disposition that is of the first importance to any community.The funeral took place on Wednesday, January 21st, and was largely attended.”

The Markdale Standard for Jan. 21, 1920 just had a brief mention of her passing.
