There is a note on the 1901 census website that a Myra Tarkka is Alex’s great grand-daughter, and that one of his sons married a Nellie Meldrum (who had a brother, Robert D. Meldrum).
Lived in Algoma West, Sault Ste. Marie, ON in 1911 census, along with his wife and son Samuel.
He was a Drayman by the time his daughter Edna was married (in 1909).
