“A quiet wedding was held on Saturday, July 5th, at 1:30 pm., in Prospect United Church, Toronto, when Ruby Holley, youngest daughter of Mrs. Holley of Flesherton and the late Wm. Holley of Holland Centre, was united in marriage to James Watt, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Watt of Toronto.The bride wore a blue-grey gabardine suit with pink hat and blouse and black accessories. The bridesmaid, Mrs. Len Patterson, wore a grey suit with pink accessories. Mrs. Len Patterson, cousin of the groom, was best man.Following the wedding, a quiet reception was held at the groom’s home in Toronto and the couple motored to Flesherton. They will reside at Brockville, Ont.”
