From his death certificate, he had lived in Campbell River (and BC) since around 1968. It also has his birth date as August 16, 1903, which is quite different from censuses. He lived at 839 7th Avenue at the time of this death. He was a farmer for about 25 years, retiring in 1959. His body was sent back to High River, Alberta for burial on March 23, 1973. He died of respitory failure, and had bronchitis and emphysema.
