His death certificate says he was born in Pakenham, and in 1881.

William was living in Burnaby at the time of his death. He had moved to BC in 1941. He was a maintenance man at Glenburn Dairy for 6 months, as his last job. He passed away from a stroke, and suffered from dementia.
