There is some speculation that her maiden name was Parker, but this is unverified. Also, one family history lists her first name as Annie. A message on genforum.genealogy.com has he being born around 1810. Some people also have her middle name as Ann, not Jane.

1881 census shows her being born in 1806, and living in Ottawa (assuming that I have the right one).
