Moved to Brant, ON, Concession 1, lots 38-39. Later moved to land south of Pembina, ND (after 1878). Listed in 1852 census as youngest of 3 kids living with Thomas and Frances Hunt (age 22).

In the 1861 census being shown born around 1832.

In the 1871 census she is shown as being born around 1833, so I am presuming the 1851 census had her age wrong.

In the 1900 U.S. census for North Dakota, Jane is shown as widowed, living in Joliette Township, Pembina, living with her son Robert. It shows that she immigrated in 1881. The census was taken June 11, 1900. It should be noted that this area is about 20 miles south of Emerson (by the U.S./Canada Border).

She is living with the Charles and Mabel Shipley family in Los Angeles, California, along with her son George (who was a boarder with them, amongst 2 others) in the 1910 United States census.
