Notes for Zelda Jean BOYLE

Her obituary from the February 2, 2012 Flint Journal:

METIVIER ZELDA J.Zelda J. Metivier (Boyle) passed away on January 30, 2012 after a long illness. Her children are forever grateful for the many years of care our Dad, her beloved husband John, was able to give her in our family home where they had so proudly raised their seven children: Michael (Yasmin), Marya, and Paul (Jackie) of North Carolina, Joseph (Kathy), Douglas (Dawn), and Ellen (Bryan) of Michigan and their precious angel Alice Ann who preceded her in death. Besides her immediate family, she leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, her sisters Mary and Darlene, her brother Wayne, and many nieces and nephews. We will miss her more than words can express but feel comforted by her love that lives on in each of us. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 North Adelaide, Fenton, MI. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 12-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint, MI. A Rosary will be prayed at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Mrs. Metivier will be at the church 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass with a luncheon immediately following for friends and family. Immediate family will attend her burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Special thanks to Avalon Hospice, especially Julie Tidwell and Amber Prescott, as well as the many caregivers at Caretel of Linden and Fenton Extended Care.
