Notes for Henry “Hank” LENSEN


Immigrated (along with their eldest daughter) to Canada in 1902. Was raised in Wisconsin, and moved to Minnesota in 1897.

As of the 1900 USA census, they were living in the Arthur & Parnell Townships, Traverse County, in Minnesota. They had a 13 year old from Norway named Mike Edwardson living/working with them, as a farm laborer.

In the 1916 census, they are in the Saskatoon District of Saskatchewan, with their 3 children. They also have two laborers (Robert Davis, 18 from Ontario, and William Heinrich, 47 from Germany), with them.

After they retired from farming in 1927, they moved to Saskatoon.
