“He was a Dr. with the 6th Canadian Field Ambulance during WW2 and my father was also a Dr.R. with them. I am fortunate in having all the letters my Dad sent home during the war and he often referred to Hans. I know I have at least one photo of Hans from a newspaper clipping and somewhere a typed description of his story from the attack on Walcheron Island. My Dad also took pictures while overseas and while many weren’t labelled and I can’t identify individuals, there were shots of the dressing station and I have a write up of where they went from the time they landed in France in 1944 until the time they left Germany. It is very interesting reading and I am more than happy to share with family members of Hans.”
