His wedding date is from Flesherton Advance, Jun 11, 1941. Both his parents, and his brother, attended the wedding in Toronto. The bridesmaid was Marguerite’s sister Ellenor, and Everett Croft was the best man. Reverend Morland Lamb was the pastor who performed the service, and the ushers were the brides brothers Thomas and Ben.

His obituary: “Croft-Harvey Victor (retired Foreman at Dominion Bridge, Toronto and W.W. II Veteran); suddenly at his residence on Sunday, August 16, 1992. Harvey Croft of Flesherton in his 76th year. Loved companion of Wynn Edwards of Flesherton. Loved father of Ted of Mississauga, Barbara of California and Lynn of Alberta. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by one brother Everett. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Tuesday, August 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 19th at 1:00pm. Internment in Flesherton Cemetery. Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #333, Flesherton are asked to assemble for service Tuesday at 8:00pm. An expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.”
