They married in a Catholic church. At the time, Jakob was living in Radlow, and Marianna in Godzsieze.

Lived in Oshawa, ON as of May 1954. Was reunited with one of his sisters May 2, 1954 in South Milwaukee, after not seeing her since 1914 when they were separated as children in Poland. They lived in France at least until 1947.
