Their wedding photo was made at a studio in Logan, Iowa.

Marriage date from familysearch.org “Iowa, County Marriages, 1838-1934”.

Moved to Vanscoy, SK district from Iowa, with Clyde and Vesta, in 1911. His brother Oscar’s family came at the same time.

1916 census shows him being from the United States, and immigrating from in 1911 along with his family. He is shown as a farmer, living at Loganton, Saskatchewan with his family.

Moved back to his family in Logan, Iowa in 1917 due to poor health, leaving his wife and Jack Hartwell on the farm. From what I gather, he came back later?

Dolly Boyle remembers that he moved up to Prince Albert after retirement, near his brother Virgil.

He have moved to Kimberley in early 1960, and had been in BC since around 1953. He was living at Marysville,BC at the time of his death. He is shown as having been a farmer for about 40 years, retiring in 1957. It shows his mothers name as Ivy instead of Ida. His body was shipped back to Saskatoon on September 30, 1961. He died of a cerebral embolism.
