The Morden Empire newspaper for June 3, 1909 mentions that he passed away at the Freemasons Hospital at 12 o’clock, and that an obituary would be in the following week’s paper. It wasn’t. There is, however, a mention of man who had comitted suicide (having alcohol problems), but it’s a bit of jump to assume that this unnamed person is him.
