His name is listed as “Edward Theofil Flatt” on his death certificate. He was an accountant at the Hotel Georgia for 29 years (worked until Feb. 8, 1956), and was married to Margaret Joan Chant. He and his wife were living at 2620 Hemlock in Vancouver at the time. He went in for an operation for lung cancer on February 11, but suffered a blood clot on the 15th.
