Barb thinks “Jane” may be her surname, not her middle name. Not sure. Her death registration just shows her as Martha Thompson (and claims that she was 86 when she died, making her born around 1818). She passed away from natural causes, having been ill for 1 week.

A descendent of her has her middle name as Ann, so Barb may be right. They also mention a newspaper article that mentions her being Martha Ann and being born in 1819. So I have changed the middle name and year of birth from my original 1922.
