Curtis E. DupuisSouth Royalton—Curtis E. Dupuis, 60, died August 15, 2009 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., after a long illness.

He was born March 3, 1949 in Hanover, N.H., the son of Hamelin and Hilda (Owens) Dupuis. He graduated from Hartford High School in 1967. He worked for White River Structural Steel for several years, then K-Ross Steel and Barker Steel for 25 years.

He was known as a hardworking man, who never took his life for granted. He enjoyed collecting and restoring bulldozers, tractors, and fire trucks.

Survivors include a son, Jacob Dupuis of Louisville, Ky.; a daughter, Haley Dupuis of South Royalton; one granddaughter; three brothers, Charles Dupuis and John Dupuis, both of Quechee, and Paul Dupuis of Randolph, Mass.; and a sister, Marsha Graham of Oahu, Hawaii.

There will be a private celebration at a later date. The Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction assisted with arrangements.
