1901 census says that she born in Scotland, but has her immigration year as 1854 (2 years before she was born).

Last name of Blair was from Manitoba Vital Statistics birth record for her son William. I now believe that this is an error, and should be McNabb, based on both 1871 census information and information from Shirley Carson. I think Blair was from Grace’s mother Eliza.

The family has that she immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario in 1860 (when she was about a year old).
