Joined the R.C.A.F. in 1942, which sent him to England, where he met his wife. He and a partner named Russ Amy began Darlingford Electric. Moved to Winnipeg in 1952 where he worked for MacDonald Bros. Aircraft.
They moved to Ottawa in 1982, where he worked with the Flight Services Training Dapartment of Transport Canada until 1990, when they retired to Whiterock, BC.
