Notes for Duncan HENDERSON

Almost had his wrist severed while working at Almonte Woolen Mills in Ontario (where his brother Robert was killed), resulting in a deformity for life.

Duncan knew his future wife while they still were in Carleton Place, Ontario.

He came west in March of 1882 by rail.

Duncan and Evie’s first home was destroyed by fire in 1896, when their 4th daughter Alena was only 10 days old.

In 1901 census, the Henderson’s had 2 lodgers with them: Dale Keeler and John Love.

Bought a Reo automobile in 1910.
