Thomas and his wife were living in Hartney, Manitoba (southwest of Souris) at the time of their son Lyle’s engagement. The wedding was planned for October, but I don’t know of what year.

In the 1921 census, they are living in Sub-district 31 of district Souris, in Manitoba. All 3 children are still living with them, and the also have a domestic (Mary Walker, age 39 from England) and a servant (William Laughland, age 42 from Scotland). Thomas is listed as a farmer.
