It was then her passion for volunteerism went full time, meals on wheels, Sherbrooke, Stenstrud lodge and many local charities benefitted from her work. She was known by many as the afghan lady for the numerous quilts she made, then donated or gave away, and more recently as the butter tart lady for the same reasons. Her life was dedicated to helping those that needed it and many were aided by her generous heart and comforted by her kind actions. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
