Notes for Bryce Wilfred SOUSTER

Star Phoenix obituary:

Bryce Wilfred Souster September 22, 1945 March 11, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Bryce is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nettie of Delisle; sons, Troy (Kim) of Saskatoon and Shaun of Delisle; four grandchildren: Mikayla, Hannah, Jasmin and Derian Souster; brother, Bruce (Madelyn) Souster; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and inlaws. He was predeceased by his parents, Cliff and Peg Souster and a granddaughter in infancy, Gabrielle. Bryce was an avid sports enthusiast spending much of his earlier years playing and coaching hockey and softball. In his later years, his enjoyment came from being with his grandchildren, camping and fishing with his good friends. Many evenings were spent sitting around the campfire enjoying lots of laughs. He was also proud to be part of the original ownership group of The Great Western Brewing Company. He was a lifelong Montreal Canadiens fan which brought him much pleasure as well as grief from his friends. His laugh will be remembered by all who knew him. Public viewing will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, 1202 Avenue O South, Saskatoon, SK with Very Rev. Fr. Ron Beechinor Celebrant.
