In his brothers Last will and testament, signed 23 May, 1917, he states that his brother William is deceased, and that he bequeaths “all my indirect and estate in the estate of my brother William Souster, deceased, unto my beloved wife Harriet Dorcella for her sole us and benefit.”

Elsewhere in his brother’s probate file, it mentions that the land his brother had from William was in Neepawa, Manitoba.

There is a William Souster who died in the RM of Harrison on November 14, 1916, born around 1854, that is likely him (this RM is just north of Minnedosa).

This William shows up on the 1901 census as the head of his own household, being born July 22, 1857 in Ontario, and being a farmer of English descent.
