Judging by numerous newspaper ads in the Minnedosa Tribune in the 1890’s, apparently Eliza opened up a Grocery store in Minnedosa, in the “Ranson block, near Main street bridge”.

She was married in the RM of Odanaha, which is south of Minnedosa and Neepawa in Manitoba.

Stayed in Manitoba, while her parents and all other siblings moved to Saskatchewan in 1906.

In the 1916 census, she is living with her family in the RM of Odanah, Manitoba.

Her death certificate says that she moved to Victoria, BC about 1954, and lived at 1530 Stockton in Victoria at the time of her death, and was widowed. Her body was sent back to Minnedosa for burial on October 7, 1959. She died of a dissecting aortic aneurysm (inner and middle layers of the aorta separate).
