Cecil and Edith farmed until 1959, when they moved to Asquith. They moved agin to Saskatoon (where Cecil had been working) in 1962. When the place he worked closed in 1967, they moved to White Bear, and then to Lacadena (northwest of White Bear), running a general store in both locations. They retired in Novemberf of 1974 (due to health reasons) and moved back to Asquith.
