Has his younger brother Daniel living with him in the Sub-district of Blanchard, Manitoba in the 1901 census. He is shown as a farmer.

There are some references in some Manitoba history books of a Thomas Souster marrying a Zair or Yair (and having one child), but I am not positive that this is the same Thomas.
