Thomas Boyle Family tree - and side branches

Notes for William Thomas Allan WARD

The Ward family were factory workers, living in row houses, in England.

Operated a blacksmith shop west of Nut Mountain, Saskatchewan. Immigrated to Canada in 1919 from Wednesbury Schaw, Stafford Shire,England along with his daughter, but not the rest of his family. He was a machinist in England. He returned to England in 1925, having been unable to make a go of it in Canada, to the rest of this family (that had never came across).

His first job in Canada was working as part of a work crew building Highway #5 between Wadena and Quill Lake, Saskatchewan.

There were other daughters in his family; some of which got to know George Weinhandl when he was in a hospital in London in 1944.
