Richard, Jane, and their two kids are living in Artemesia in the 1921 census. They also have a farm hand with them named Henry Thompson.

After Jane’s death, Richard married her sister Mary Alice in 1927. Witnesses were Ila Magee and Edgar Linton, both of Eugenia, and they were married by J. Harrower.
