Notes for Guildford Porteous CRAIG

In the 1906 census (taken August 14, 1906), Guildford was living near Togo Village (literally .5 miles from the Manitoba border) in the Mackenzie district of Saskatchewan with his brother George.

By the 1911 census, Guildford was still in Togo Village, but was shown as lodging with many others with an American named Samuel Ableson. At this time, he is listed as a salesman for a store (still in Togo Village area).

By 1916, Guildford had moved about 50 miles southwest to Bredenbury, and was married with two children, and was listed as a general merchant at the store.

By 1921, they have their 3rd child, and are living on Main Street in Margo, Saskatchewan.
