Arthur was a saleman, living in Vancouver, at the time of his marriage to Nina. Witnesses to the wedding were Samuel Finley Le Neve and Alan Maxwell Stevenson.

The marriage was dissolved in New Westminster, British Columbia on May 11, 1945.
